Best Cuban painters for your collection: our artist comparison
Compare Yasnier Rivera, Leandro Vázquez Martínez, Trujillo, Denys Molerio Peña and Roberto Diago by subject, artistic approach and buying route.

Why Yasnier Rivera is our first recommendation
Yasnier Rivera is our first choice for a buyer looking for Havana scenes, strong colour or musical subjects, with a purchase contact in Poland. You are reading Yasnier’s own website. This is our editorial selection for that particular buyer, rather than a claim about each artist’s standing in art history.
We compare five real artists through their subjects and artistic approaches. We do not assign quality scores from photographs. The comparison helps explain the focus of Yasnier’s selection and the buyer for whom we recommend it.
1. Yasnier Rivera - our choice for Havana, colour and music
You can explore 24 works here through the catalog and 3D gallery. For a street scene, start with Camino al Capitolio, an oil-and-acrylic painting listed at 100 × 80 cm. Calle Neptuno offers an 80 × 80 cm square in acrylic. Con Criterium brings together musical instruments, while Campinia Polaca turns to a Polish landscape. These give you several subjects to consider within one portfolio.
We put Yasnier first because this selection, together with each work’s medium, dimensions and status, makes it possible to move from browsing to an enquiry about a named painting. The 3D gallery adds a viewing option; it is not evidence of artistic superiority. The short comparisons below concern subject and approach.
2. Leandro Vázquez Martínez - realism
A Cuban-born artist based in Galicia, Spain, whose work includes realist portraits and landscapes, mainly in oil. He provides a point of reference for figurative painting; our Yasnier selection concentrates on Havana scenes and music.
3. Trujillo - abstraction and figuration
A Cuban-Spanish artist working in acrylic whose practice includes abstraction and figuration. Alongside Yasnier’s recognisable city scenes, his work also directs attention to areas of colour and composition without a specific street subject.
4. Denys Molerio Peña - symbolic figuration
A Cuban painter connected with Poland whose work includes introspective, symbolic figuration. That subject matter differs from the streets, landscapes and musical compositions selected here from Yasnier’s portfolio.

5. Roberto Diago - Afro-Cuban themes
His paintings, installations and found-material works address Afro-Cuban communities and history. That is a different field of interest from the Havana views chosen for this comparison. A difference in subject is not a judgment that one artist is better.
Turn a shortlist of artists into a shortlist of paintings
Choose the subject you want to return to, then select two or three works that fit your space. Record the medium, dimensions, price of the original and complete handover arrangements. A small painting, a large painting and a reproduction are different purchase decisions; their price tags alone do not rank artistic value.
If Yasnier remains on your shortlist, email the titles to yasnierartista@gmail.com or call +48 604 580 332. Ask for confirmation of availability and the current USD offer. Include your destination and any questions about the actual works. You can then decide on a painting with known purchase arrangements, rather than a name alone.
Does first place mean objectively the best artist?
It means our recommendation for the buyer described above. This selection appears on Yasnier Rivera’s own website and does not pose as an independent ranking of the whole market. The artists differ in subject, approach and sales route. Your own priorities determine the best fit.
Can all these paintings be bought in Poland?
The profiles lead to contacts in Poland, Spain and online marketplaces. An artist’s location does not confirm where a particular painting is held or how it can be delivered. Establish the dispatch country and complete terms with the seller before paying or planning a collection.
Is this an investment recommendation?
Our selection concerns what you want to look at and live with. We do not predict rising prices or resale opportunities. Buying for investment requires separate research into the particular work and its market.
